Mode of action detail:
Oxathiapiprolin inhibits an oxysterol binding protein (OSBP) homologue. Oxysterol binding proteins are involved in the movement of lipids between membranes. OSBP inhibition may disrupt additional processes in the fungal cell, such as signaling, maintaining cell membranes, and the formation of more complex lipids that are essential for the cell to survive

Mandipropamid inhibits cellulose synthesis and cell wall biosynthesis. Mandipropamid stops fungal growth rapidly and strongly inhibiting germination of zoospores and sporangia

Product overview

SEGOVIS® FLORA is a fungicide resulting from the combination of the active ingredients oxathiapiprolin and mandipropamid, for the control of downy mildew. It moves systemically in the plant’s xylem and rapidly penetrates plant tissues. Absorption through foliage allows for good translaminar movement and protection of new shoots.

  • Early growth stage control of oomycete pathogens and stops mycelium growth inside the plant before visible symptoms occur
